Achillea are perennials which are attractive to butterflies and bees and have a long flowering period. They are ideal in a sunny border.

Achilleas do not like wet soil, especially during the winter months. Plant Achilleas in well drained soil, add grit to your soil prior to planting. In the summer months, use bamboo canes to stake the tall flower stems. Do not cut down this perennial until late winter as they look particularly attractive during the autumn months.
