Pure Feed Company Pure Linseed contains just one ingredient; micronised linseed – and nothing else! It can be fed straight from the bag with no need for soaking or boiling – thanks to the micronising process we apply to it. This pre-cooks it at a high temperature and because of this it retains flavour. Therefore it’s highly palatable for your horse as well as convenient for you.
High in omega 3 6 and 9 fatty acids Pure Linseed maintains healthy skin condition whilst producing a high shine to the horse’s coat. Omega 3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties. They play a crucial role in helping to maintain immune function and aiding repair processes. Pure Linseed’s high oil content is combined with low starch and sugar levels.
Pure Linseed can be used as a top-up to any horse’s feed. However it may be particularly useful for those in work and needing extra slow-release energy. Additionally it can be a good solution for older horses needing to gain or maintain bodyweight and laminitics who require low-starch feeding options.
