Silvermoor Veteran is a short chop rye grass haylage which is easily chewed and managed by horses and ponies with deteriorating teeth.
Silvermoor recognised the difficulties of ensuring veteran horses and ponies receive sufficient fibre in their diet as they can struggle to eat long and fibrous hay and haylage. Using innovative techniques we have developed a shorter chop haylage which is easily chewed and can be fed throughout the day to suit horses' natural little and often feeding preference.
Veteran is available in easy to handle weather proof 20kg packs.
Once opened the haylage will last for approximately 5 days and unopened have a shelf life of 12 months.
Each bag/bale is assigned a batch number which enables complete traceability and consistency of product. Every batch of haylage is independently analyzed ensuring the correct nutritional levels in every bag.

Returns will be accepted for up to 7 days of Customer's receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item.

The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.
