Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' is a classic, show-stopping shrub, renowned for its huge, snowball-like blooms that appear in abundance from mid-summer to early autumn. The impressive creamy-white flower heads, which can reach up to 25cm (10in) across, gradually fade to soft green as the season progresses, adding long-lasting interest to the garden.
This hardy, easy-care deciduous shrub forms a graceful, rounded shape with lush, deep green foliage, making it an excellent choice for borders, woodland gardens, and statement planting. It thrives in sun or partial shade, tolerating a wide range of soils, and is highly reliable, blooming even after hard pruning.
