Iris louisiana, commonly known as Louisiana iris 'Heather Stream', is a clump-forming perennial with tall, sword-shaped green leaves that create a strong upright habit. In late spring to early summer it bears large, elegant flowers in soft lavender to pale purple tones, often highlighted with gentle yellow markings that give the blooms a refined, flowing appearance.
