Lythrum salicaria 'Robert', commonly known as Robert purple loosestrife, is a clump-forming marginal perennial with upright stems and narrow, lance-shaped green leaves. In summer it produces dense spikes of rich magenta-purple flowers, creating a strong vertical accent in damp borders and along pond margins.
This cultivar thrives in consistently moist or wet soils and is highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, contributing significant ecological value. Its upright habit and tolerance of waterlogged conditions make it ideal for wildlife gardens, pond edges, and naturalistic wetland planting schemes.
